Small Business Billing

1. Introduction
Small Business Billing is a business billing and invoice management application developed and published by Purabi Homespun.
We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Small Business Billing application handles, how that information is used, where it is stored, and when it may be shared.
By using Small Business Billing, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information Handled by the App
Small Business Billing is primarily designed to store and process business and billing information locally on the user's device.
Depending on how you use the app, you may enter or generate:
Business Information
- Business name
- Business phone number
- Business address
- GSTIN
- UPI ID and UPI payee name
- Business logo
Customer Information
- Customer name
- Customer phone number
- Customer address, if entered
Billing Information
- Invoice numbers
- Products or services
- Product descriptions
- Quantities
- Prices
- Discounts
- Tax-related information entered by the user
- Payment method
- Paid and due amounts
- Invoice dates
- Other information entered into an invoice
Product Information
- Product or service names
- Descriptions
- Prices
- Other product information entered by the user
3. How Information Is Used
Information entered into Small Business Billing is used to provide the app's core functionality, including:
- Creating and managing invoices
- Generating PDF invoices
- Maintaining billing records
- Calculating sales and payment amounts
- Displaying sales reports
- Generating UPI QR codes when applicable
- Managing products and services
- Creating backups and restoring billing information
- Printing invoices
- Sharing invoices when you explicitly choose to do so
4. Local Storage
Small Business Billing is designed to operate primarily offline.
Business, customer, product, invoice and related information created within the app is stored locally on the user's device.
Purabi Homespun does not automatically upload your billing records or customer information to its own servers through the app.
The app does not require an online account to use its core billing functionality.
5. Sharing Information
Small Business Billing does not automatically sell, rent, or share your billing or customer information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Certain features allow you to intentionally share information with another application or service.
WhatsApp Sharing
If you choose to share an invoice through WhatsApp, the invoice/PDF and information contained in it are transferred to WhatsApp or the application you select. This action is initiated by you.
Printing
If you choose to print an invoice, the document is provided to the printing service or printer application selected by you.
File Sharing and Backup
If you export, save, restore, or share a PDF or backup file, the information contained in that file may be accessed by the storage location or application that you choose.
Once information is intentionally shared with another application or service, that service's own privacy policy and terms may apply.
6. Advertising
Small Business Billing does not contain third-party advertising or advertising SDKs.
The app does not use your billing or customer information for targeted advertising.
7. Analytics and Tracking
Small Business Billing does not intentionally use advertising trackers or analytics services to track your activities across other applications or websites.
8. Location Information
Small Business Billing does not require your device's precise or approximate location for its core functionality.
The app does not use location tracking.
9. Photos and Business Logo
The app may allow you to select a business logo or image from your device for use on invoices.
The selected image is used for billing functionality and is not automatically uploaded to Purabi Homespun's servers.
10. PDF Invoices
When you generate an invoice PDF, the PDF may contain information entered into the invoice, including:
- Business information
- Customer information
- Product or service information
- Invoice details
- Payment information
The PDF remains under your control. You decide whether to save, print, or share it.
11. Backup and Restore
Small Business Billing provides backup and restore functionality.
When you create a backup, the backup file may contain business, customer, product, invoice and other information stored by the app.
The backup file is saved or shared according to the location and method selected by you.
Purabi Homespun does not automatically receive or store your backup files on its own servers.
You are responsible for protecting backup files that you export or store outside the application.
12. Data Security
Small Business Billing is designed to keep its primary business and billing information on the user's device.
We take reasonable measures within the application to protect locally stored information and provide application access protection features.
However, no electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users should protect their device, application PIN, exported PDFs, and backup files and should not share them with unauthorized persons.
13. Data Retention
Information stored inside Small Business Billing remains on the user's device until the user deletes it through the app, clears the application's data, uninstalls the application, or otherwise removes the relevant files.
Exported PDF invoices and backup files stored outside the app are controlled by the user and remain available until the user deletes them.
Purabi Homespun does not maintain a central copy of locally stored billing records through the app.
14. Data Deletion
Because Small Business Billing does not require an online user account, there is no Purabi Homespun online account associated with the app that requires account deletion.
Users can remove locally stored application information by deleting the relevant information within the app or by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the application through Android.
Users should separately delete any exported PDF invoices, backup files, or copies that they have saved outside the application.
15. Children's Privacy
Small Business Billing is a business productivity application and is not designed specifically for children.
We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through an online service.
16. Third-Party Applications and Services
Small Business Billing may interact with applications selected by the user, such as WhatsApp, printing applications, file managers, browsers, or other Android sharing services.
Those applications are operated by their respective providers and are governed by their own privacy policies.
Purabi Homespun does not control how those third-party services handle information after you choose to share information with them.
17. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app's functionality, data practices, or legal requirements change.
When changes are made, the updated Privacy Policy will be published at this same webpage.
The Effective Date at the beginning of this policy will indicate when the current version became effective.
